Our Programs

Founded in 1974 as the first organized girls’ soccer league in the United States, WAGS helped spark a movement that transformed opportunities for girls in the game.

Today, as a nonprofit organization, WAGS invests in programs that empower and celebrate women and girls in soccer, recognizing excellence, awarding college scholarships, and creating pathways for women to grow as coaches, referees, and leaders in the sport.

For more than 50 years, WAGS hasn’t just supported girls’ soccer  we’ve shaped its future.
