Soccer Hall of Fame

Each year, WAGS contributes $3,500 to a Hall of Fame Award, to help cover the costs of the award and the ceremony. This award honors achievement in coaching and/or lifetime contributions to the game of soccer. Selections are made from the balloting committees, WAGS does not serve as role in this aspect.

For 2019 the recipient was the VA-DC Soccer Hall of Fame Golf Tournament fundraiser which was held May 16th.

Luncheon, Awards and Keynote Speaker John Koskinen addressed the group after the golf tournament concluded.

WAGS Chairwomen Lula Bauer, Ciara Diederich (former WAGS player and University of Lynchburg player) and Kerry Diederich WAGS Executive Director attended the Luncheon to support the event.
